Calling leads is simple! Some people don’t respond to postards or voice broadcasts so you are leaving money on the table if you choose not to call your leads. Calling a surveyed or phone interviewed lead is much different than just cold calling someone. When you call leads, there is no room for fear. The person on the other line is human just like you. There is nothing to be afraid of and remember that you are only calling them because they asked for information and requested a call back. And the great thing about surveyed or phone interviewed leads is that they are expecting someone to call them about a home based business
You just call them up and invite them to your MCA website. You don't have to explain the program to them, let your site do the telling and selling for you. Just give them your domain name and invite them to check it out for themselves.
Now of course, you will always have a few people that will say “NO, they’re not interested”, but PLEASE do not take it personally, just move on to the next call. And if a prospect is rude to you, you probably don’t want them on your team anyway. I like to say that rejection is God’s protection… just keep calling.

How To Follow Up With Your Prospects
You may have prospects that are truly interested in MCA, but you will never know it because you aren't following up with them. When life gets in the way, your prospects will put off starting their own home business. And sometimes your prospect just needs to know that there is a real person behind the website before they decided to take action and join you. It is extremely important that you follow up with them when they are HOT and when the program is fresh in their minds. I am not at all saying that you should chase your prospects. There is a difference between chasing them and following up with them, but you should be making at least a few attempts to contact them. Depending on which capture page system you have chosen to you, your leads should already be receiving your follow up email series automatically but I can tell you that if you are NOT following up with your leads by telephone, you are leaving a lot of money on the table.
Here are some tips to good follow up:
The first 10 seconds matter. The impression you make during the first ten seconds of your follow-up phone call can make or break you. Plan your approach by making sure you do the following.
1. Introduce yourself!
By announcing yourself right away, you give yourself and the company an air of confidence and authenticity.
"Hi John, this is Yvonne from Colorado just following up with you. You visited my site to learn more about the Motor Club of America. I just wanted to call to introduce myself and to let you know that I am a real person. I wanted to know if you have any questions and to see how I can help you?"
2. Are you listening?
Does the prospect sound distracted, rushed or annoyed? Don't come across as inconsiderate; acknowledge the importance of their time. "Did I reach you at a fairly decent time"
3. Start with a Question.
Start your conversation with an open ended question in order to get the prospect talking. Pay strict attention to the information you are provided with.
"Were you able to go through the entire presentation?"
"Are you looking for something full-time or part-time?"
"Have you ever had your own home business before?"
4. Is this a good time?
Is this prospect interested in talking a little? If you've made it to this point, it's a good indication that the prospect is interested in what you have to say. Still before you go on any further, it's important to ask:
"This should only take a few minutes. Is this a good time?"
5. Script vs. Guidelines
Like everything is life, it's not always possible to follow a script. If you do, chances are; you'll only sound like you're reading from a cue card. Instead, learn the difference between a script and a guideline. Make sure you have all of the information on hand and your general direction of conversation laid out, so when the situation arises, you won't be left out in the cold.
6. Be yourself.
Your prospect can tell when you are trying to "sell" them something so don't try to convince them. Just be authentic and you will go along way with getting people to sign up.
7. Keep it short and let your website do the work for you.
You should be spending only a few minutes on the phone with your prospect. Try to keep it to 2-minutes or less. If they have opted into your capture page, they should have already seen your presentation. When you get your prospect on the phone always ask if they watched the entire presentation. If they haven't, direct them back to your presentation. Never spend time trying to explain it to them. "John, it's important that you watch the entire presentation. That way you'll have all the details you need to make a decision to join us. Besides, the system does a much better job than I can at explaining everything. Let me give you my website address again."
8. Give them YOUR contact information.
Always be professional and your prospect a way to get in touch with you. This helps your prospect feel comfortable about taking a look at MCA, because if you're giving them your contact information, then you can't possibly be trying to scam them. "Let me give you my contact information so you can reach me if you have questions. Just let me know when you're ready to write. My name is Yvonne from Colorado and you can reach me by phone at ###-###-#### and my email address is _______________."
9. Close the deal.
Make sure you've answered all of their questions and then ask for the sale.
"John have I answered all of your questions? Great, then it sounds like you're ready to get started. Are you at your computer so you can get signed up right now?
10. Send them a follow-up email. (Make sure you change the username in the link to your prospect can go to YOUR personalized presentation page.)
